Do you feel like there is a storm constantly looming on the horizon?
Do you lie awake at night and worry about what might go wrong, or wake up in the middle of the night in a panic? You might be living with anxiety. Anxiety can make us feel like something horrible is about to happen, sending us into a near constant state of fight or flight. Anxiety tells us that something bad will happen, and encourages us to think of all the things we need to say, do, and overthink in order to stop all potential crises from happening. Anxiety might make you stop doing things you enjoy because you are too afraid of what might go wrong, or consume you until you have no energy to do anything but worry, overthink, and spiral.
Our Approach
At Jasper Therapy Group, we use a mix of approaches to help you manage your anxiety. CBT (Cognitve Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), and other approaches are used to tailor a unique experience for you, because you are a unique client.
What does that giant mix of alphabet soup even mean? To put it plainly, we help you understand where your worries might be coming from, accept what you can and cannot control, and challenge yourself to overcome your anxieties in a safe way so you can get back to doing the things you want to do, or so you can become the person you want to be.
